The fight against bureaucratic giants begins, often, with one person facing overwhelming odds.
That’s the only way I can describe my recent confrontation, which is heading toward a critical final hearing on November 19th. This is not a personal dispute; it's a battle against the cold procedure and legal rules wielded by entities with limitless resources. Everything started with a decades-old alleged debt, dating back to 2017–2018, suddenly resurrected in 2025 through dual bank seizures initiated by two different recovery agents. I am fighting for justice in an anonymous court, hoping to demonstrate that a single person deserves procedural equality against highly trained lawyers. This confrontation is not about the final sum. It’s about the devastating human effort required for defense. I made an extreme financial sacrifice (borrowing money, even begging) to pay the court fee recently confirmed by a procedural ruling. My core legal defense is focused on three points: First, challenging the entire action by invoking the statute of limitations for a debt that old. I demand that these recovery giants prove their claim and demonstrate that they legally interrupted the timeline for debt collection. Second, I contest the way two separate entities aggregated my accounts, creating a mountain of fees that far exceeds the original, disputed amount.
My argument is also strongly rooted in the human element. The seizure was unjustly executed against my non-attachable property and essential income, funds legally protected for survival. I am currently single, without employment income, and relying solely on social benefits. I have appealed to the court's humanity, asking them to look past the procedures and see the person who is not aggressive, has no criminal record, and asks for belief. I would have easily paid the full sum if I had the means, but to me, the amount now required is truly excessive.I lack the experience and legal training of the opposing counsel. I am a nobody facing an entire system. My biggest fear is that the case will be lost on a technicality, purely because of my lack of legal expertise. My mother recently passed away, and I am now alone, trapped in the country during the harsh winter without the ability to leave. My final plea: Even if you know you won't win, and you know the fight against these debt recovery giants is unequal, you must show up as you are. Because perhaps, at the end of the tunnel, the light of true justice will appear. That is my ultimate hope.
