From Creators to Rigid Critics
The irony of the situation is that while we thought we could relax, we have actually become the toughest boss we've ever had. The Intelligent Pen (AI) has eliminated the most demoralizing stage of the creative process: the blank page. Without it, writing a serious document would lead to a coffee break, checking the phone, and useless conversation with a colleague. This distributed attention would destroy coherence. Now, the initial result is given to us at the speed of light, eliminating the empty space that encouraged laziness. We are no longer allowed to restart our work from scratch; we are forced to become cold and immediate chief editors.
The paradox is that we haven't become lazier; instead, we have specialized in criticism. The Intelligent Pen doesn't steal our work; it steals our hesitation. We become experts in pattern recognition and identifying weak points. When the pen produces an initial draft, we read it with a different mindset. We no longer ask, "What should I write?", but "Where did this machine mess up?". It's as if we receive a perfectly formatted, yet cold, text that we must warm up and humanize.
The transfer of the role from writer to evaluator transforms us from students into teachers. The constant process of refinement transforms that "excellent exemplar" (but lacking soul) we start from into a solid procedural creation through a rapid succession of critique and adjustment. We have learned that we must not write; we must judge what is written.
Therefore, although the Intelligent Pen (AI) writes by itself, it disciplines us to be more rigid and efficient. And once we have learned, through constant dialogue and testing, what the power of excellence is, we can no longer accept a weak result. We become critics who are not satisfied with a simple draft, but demand the maximum standard, because we have understood that a fast mind (or pen) has the capacity to achieve that performance. We have learned well.
We have learned better! How do you use artificial intelligence? 😂 (Generating cat pictures...)
(Artificial intelligence can help you much more if you know how to use it efficiently!)
